Billy Jack Clymer, 75, of Washington
Billy Jack Clymer, 75, of Washington, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022.
He was born July 23, 1946, in Washington, Indiana to the late Clarence David and
Lena May (Wood) Clymer.
Billy retired from NSWC Crane after 40 years of civil service. He loved the
outdoors. You could often find Billy hunting, fishing, shooting, and even telling a
joke here or there. He cherished the time he spent with is family and grandchildren.
He was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church in Washington,
Vincennes Gun Club Inc., Wabash Valley Sports Club, Washington Masonic
Lodge – Charity Lodge 30 and the Washington Conservation Club.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Lena Clymer and sister,
Sharon (Bob) Young.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda, who he married July 23, 2014; sons, Chris
(Jennifer) Clymer and Chadd M. (Honey) Clymer, both of Washington;
stepchildren, Lisa Michelle (Bryan) Reed of Washington and Jason Lind (Christy)
Pitcher of Petersburg; grandchildren, Collin and Jackson Clymer, Chase and Paige
Clymer; step-grandchildren, Dane Reed, Sydney Reed, Paige Lengacher and
Blaine Pitcher; step-great-granddaughter, Ellie Reed; and several nieces and
nephews.
Billy wished to be cremated and services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Washington
Conversation Club.
