Barbara Ann Parks, age 79, of Jasper, formerly of Huntingburg

Barbara Ann Parks, age 79, of Jasper, formerly of Huntingburg, passed away at 9:50 p.m., Saturday, July 7, 2018, at The Waters of Huntingburg.

 She was born January 24, 1939 in Washington, Indiana to James A. Robinson, Sr. and Helen L. (Williams) Robinson.  Barbara worked 25 years in the woodworking industry.  She was a member of the Jasper Moose Lodge, American Legion Auxiliary and V.F.W. Auxiliary both of Jasper, the Huntingburg Fraternal Order of Eagles, and AARP.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, James Robinson, Jr.

She is survived by five children, Carletta Mehringer, Arlene Bright, Angela Mendel and Arthur W. Parks all of Huntingburg, and Gayle (Dean) Smith of Sulphur; one brother, Robert Robinson of Indianapolis; by (12) grandchildren and (18) great grandchildren.

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg.  Pastor Howard Geck will officiate.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., Wednesday.  Memorial contributions, per family wishes, can be made to assist with funeral expenses.
