Austin Ryan Swartzentruber, 28, of Odon

Austin Ryan Swartzentruber, 28, of Odon, Indiana passed away on Thursday February 1, 2024 at Daviess Community Hospital surrounded by his family.

He was born on February 22, 1995, in Washington, Indiana to Norman and Dorcas (Wagler) Swartzentruber.

Austin was a member of Canaan Fellowship Church. He married Sharon Kemp on August 21, 2021 and she survives.  Austin worked as a mechanic and truck driver for Stoll Brothers Lumber. He was a co-owner of Double A Tire.

Austin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Alvin Jay Swartzentruber, Ernie Wagler, Sharon's grandparents, Naomi Kemp, and Leroy and Rosie Stoll.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Kemp) Swartzentruber, their son, Connor Ryan Swartzentruber, his parents, Norman and Dorcas Swartzentruber, his mother and father – in- law, Wilmer and Pauline (Stoll) Kemp, his brothers, Corey (Hannah) Swartzentruber, Matthew (Sydney) Swartzentruber, Tyson (Paige) Swartzentruber, Vernon (Jessica) Swartzentruber, Brandon Swartzentruber, Caleb Swartzentruber, his brother – in- laws, Kevin M. (Ida Rose) Wagler, Kenneth M. (Vera) Kemp, Alan Kemp, Darvin Kemp, his sister- in- laws, Lisa Kemp and special friend Shawn Graber, Amanda Kemp and special friend Jared Raber, his grandparents, Lorene Swartzentruber, Henry and Lydia Graber, and Sharon’s grandparents, Amos and Delilah Kemp, his nieces and nephews, Ariah, Ellianna, Bentley, Aubrie, Paizlee, Addalyn and Memphis Swartzentruber, Alisha, Logan, Kenton, Abby, Mahlon, Dorcas, Elizabeth, Amanda and Klara Kemp, and 51 cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 9:30 A.M Sunday February 4, 2024, at Shiloh Community Center in Odon, IN with Jerry Yoder, Keith Knepp, Alvin Knepp, and Dean Knepp to officiate. Burial will follow in Canaan Mennonite Cemetery in Plainville, IN.

Visitation will begin Friday February 2, 2024, from 5:00 P.M and continue through Saturday until the time of service on Sunday at 9:30 A.M at Shiloh Community Center in Odon, IN.
