Amy Louise Dippel, age 56, of Huntingburg
Amy Louise Dippel, age 56, of Huntingburg, passed away, Monday, June 6, 2022, at her home in Huntingburg.
She was born July 10, 1965, in Gary, Indiana, to Christ and Ida Louise (Price) Kuzmanoff. She graduated from Andrean High School of Gary, Indiana and attended the University of Evansville, where she received her bachelor’s degree in education from University of Southern Indiana. She married Matthew J. Dippel on May 23, 1987 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She loved first and foremost, her family, followed closely by her career in social work. She enjoyed playing bunco with her friends, traveling, cross stitching, scrapbooking and weekend matinees at the movies. She attended a Leiomyosarcoma support group and was a former member of Kappa Delta Phi Sorority. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Chloe Dippel; four brothers, Chris, Richard, James, and Russell Kuzmanoff.
She is survived by her husband, Matt Dippel of Huntingburg, a daughter, Madeline Dippel of Brooklyn, New York; a son, Will Dippel of Bloomington; one brother, Jeff (Susan) Kuzmanoff of California; two sisters, Kathryn (Jim) Russell of Illinois, Nancy Kuzmanoff (significant other: Mark Detert) of Crown Point, Indiana; sisters-in-law, Marsha Kuzmanoff of Griffith, Indiana and Anna Kuzmanoff of Grayslake, Illinois.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., E.D.T., on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Friends may call for visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
