Alice Mae Miller, age 95, of Newburgh, of Pike County

 Alice Mae Miller, age 95, of Newburgh, formerly a long-time resident of Pike County living in Velpen and Stendal for much of her life, passed away on October 29, 2019, at The Village of Hamilton Pointe in Newburgh, Indiana.

She was born May 8, 1924, in Cannelton, Indiana, to Armond and Lillian (Meyer) Young.  Alice married Ovle Gene Miller on March 16, 1943; and he passed away on March 21, 2002.  She was also preceded in death by one son, Ronald Gene Miller; one brother, Charles Young; and two grandchildren, Heath Kalb and Sandy Ann Kalb.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Marcus (Janice) Miller of Newburgh, Ind.; one daughter and son-in-law, Tracy Lynn (Gregg) Vosler of Delaware, OH; daughter-in-law, Rita Miller of Shoals, Ind.; her younger sister, Arlene Barrett of Otwell, Ind.; by (9) grandchildren, (9) great-grandchildren and (3) great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Alice Mae Miller will be held at 1:30 p.m., E.S.T., November 23, 2019, at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Velpen, Indiana.  Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the burial arrangements.
