Alberta M. "Bert" Obermeier, age 86 of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper, Indiana.
 
She was born in Jasper, Indiana on May 23, 1933 to John and Ida (Brinkman) Obermeier.
 
Bert retired from Jasper Wood Products in Jasper after many years of service.
 
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.
 
She enjoyed spending time with her pet dogs and gardening.
 
Surviving are her companion and caregiver, Robert Beyers of Cuzco, and nieces and nephews.
 
Preceding her in death were her parents, two sisters, Esther Seng, and Rosina Friedman, and two brothers, Jerome and Albert Obermeier.
 
A Mass of Christian Burial for Alberta M. "Bert" Obermeier will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 29, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
 
A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday.
