WOMEN EMPOWERING WOMEN AUGUST EVENT: Panel Discussion: Cultivating Balance and Well-Being
Dubois Co.- The Dubois County women’s leadership organization, Women Empowering Women (WEW), will gather on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 to hear our panel, Ashley Downes, Sue Habig, and Rossina Sandoval, speak on how to create a healthy work-life balance in order to succeed in the work place and at home.
The August session will be held at the SWICAC Building (505 W 5th Street, Jasper, IN). Doors will open at 11:30am for networking before the meeting from 11:45am to 12:45pm EST. This event is open to all prospective and current WEW members.
Ashley Downes is the owner of FitFuel Nutrition, LLC in Jasper, a wife & mother of 4, and an IFBB Bodybuilding Pro competing in the Fitness Division. She was a 4 year Division 1 Cheerleader at Purdue University where she majored in Exercise Science and Kinesiology. She now uses her 18 years of experience in the fitness industry to inspire others to live their best lives.
Sue Habig has worked for Kimball Electronics since 1986. She has over 35 years of responsible and progressive experience in human resource management as well as manufacturing and operations management. Sue leads the KEJ HR & Training teams to build capabilities to ensure vitality in the talent pipeline and increase customer scorecards while being a human centered company. Sue is married to Paul and they have two children: Thomas, 17, and Olivia, 14.
Rossina Sandoval was born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, México. She studied k-12 in a bilingual school, and her higher education was Psychology and Early Childhood Education. Rossina and her husband migrated to the United States where she is currently working for Southwest Dubois County School Corporation to help develop a one of a kind position: Director of Community Engagement with a twist; her focus is the acculturation process of migrant families.

The mission of Women Empowering Women is to inspire women in business to reach their highest potential by instilling confidence, building networks, and promoting community in Dubois County. Membership is open to any woman in business who lives or works in Dubois County.
