Weekend Crash Claims One Life, Another Person Airlifted With Life-Threatening Injuries

SPENCER COUNTY -- One person is dead, another seriously injured following a crash Sunday morning in Spencer County.

It happened on SR 161 near CR 300 South.

Authorities say the driver of one vehicle died at the scene, another airlifted to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Their names have not yet been released.

No word at this hour on a possible cause of the crash, however, reconstructionists were on scene following the accident conducting their investigation.
