WEATHER ALERT: Dubois County Under "Slight Risk" for Severe Weather Today
By: David Shepherd, Forecaster
DUBOIS COUNTY -- We are on weather alert today for the potential of severe weather and flooding.
The Storm Prediction Center has placed our area under a SLIGHT RISK for severe weather this afternoon.
The primary threats will be hail and damaging winds, but torrential rains can’t be ruled out.
That could cause flash flooding, especially with all of the high water we already have out there.
We could see 1-2 inches of rain through Friday morning.
Stay with us through the day on air and over on our Facebook page. We will keep you up-to-date on the severe weather threat through the day.
