Washington Man Arrested After Having Near Fatal Alcohol Level

Jasper- The Jasper Police responded to a call Friday morning about a man unconscious in a laundry room. 

When officers arrived at the Village Court Apartments, they located Victor Rafael Pagan Sotomayor. Sotomayor showed signs of extreme intoxication according to officers. A chemical test later revealed he had an alcohol level of .352. A lethal level is .40.

After receiving medical clearance, Sotomayor was transported to the Dubois County Security Center for Public Intoxication.
