Volunteers Needed for 10th Annual Heartland Half Marathon

Huntingburg – You can make a difference in your community by volunteering at this year’s Heartland Half Marathon. It takes many individuals to hold the Heartland Half Marathon events, and it wouldn’t be possible without the time and generosity of each volunteer.

The 10th annual Heartland Half Marathon is scheduled for Saturday, September 3, 2022, in Huntingburg, Indiana. The committee seeks volunteers for the following:

• Day Before - Friday Packet Pick Up
• Race Day - Packet Pick Up at Current Blend
• Race Day - At Finish Line
• Race Day - Along Route
• Race Day- Kids Fun Run Registration

Volunteers generally work in pairs or small groups, and young adults can also help when paired with an adult. A short informational meeting regarding volunteer assignments will be at Market Street Park in Huntingburg, on August 24 from 6:00 – 6:30 p.m. ET for all volunteers. All volunteers will receive their free shirt at the meeting.
