Vehicle Wrecks into Jasper Business

Jasper - A vehicle crashed into the front of David's Hair Salon in Jasper on Thursday.

According to law enforcement officials, at 11:25 a.m. Thursday morning, a 2016 Buick LaCrosse was traveling westbound on 28th Street and pulled into the David's Hair Salon parking lot.

The driver of the LaCrosse, whom is not facing any charges or citations, advised that she was running late for an appointment at that location and pulled in too fast.

The driver stated that while pulling in, she thought she was hitting the brake. She was in fact hitting the gas.

The crash caused between $10,000.00 and $20,000.00 damage to both the vehicle and the building.

The driver was not hospitalized due to the collision.
