Two Killed In Spencer County Accident

The identities of two people killed in a crash early Thursday morning in Spencer County have been released.  The Spencer County Sheriff confirmed that 56-year-old Philip Ebelhar, of Chrisney, and 20-year-old Breah Cummings, of Eckerty, died in the crash that happened around 7 a.m. near SR 162.  Deputies report that Cummings was headed south in the passing lane when her vehicle was struck head on by Ebelhar.  Both drivers were declared dead at the scene.  The accident closed U.S. 231 for several hours on Thursday.  It has since been reopened.
