Tuesday Collision Totals One Vehicle

At 3:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, a Chevrolet Equinox was stopped North of the intersection of Schuetter Road and Newton Street. While stopped, a Mitsubishi Gallant attempted to stop behind the initial vehicle. Police officials say that due to slick road conditions, the driver was unable to do so.

The rear-end collision totaled the Gallant and caused an estimated $10,000 in damages to the Equinox.

The driver of the Equinox requested to be evaluated at Memorial Hospital secondary to head pain and a small laceration to her left hand

No one was charged or cited in the incident.
