Tri-County YMCA Monster Dash Returns Saturday

Ferdinand – On Saturday, the Monster Dash 5K returns to Ferdinand.

Tri-County YMCA Executive Director Mike Steffe joined WITZ’s Justin Howard on the Springs Valley Bank and Trust Community Feature Series – to highlight Saturday’s event.

The 5K Run/Walk is held each year on the Saturday before Halloween. Though it isn’t mandatory, participants are encouraged to don costumes as part of the festivities.

Children, and strollers, will be allowed on the course. Supervisors will be on site to watch children who do not participate, pumpkin painting coincides with the event.

During, and after the run, Wood Capital Pizza’s food truck will be at the location.

The $30 registration fee will be accepted up until the 10:00 a.m. race time; participants will receive a t-shirt.

The Tri-County YMCA is located at 131 East 16^th Street in Ferdinand. Registrations can be made online at tricountyymca.org.
