Traffic Stop Yields Three Charges

Jasper- A man from Jasper is looking at three charges after a traffic stop on Thursday night.

Officers with the Jasper Police Department report pulling over Wyatt E. Jenkins, 26 of Jasper, for no taillights. After contact was made, Jenkins was deemed impaired.

A BAC test showed Jenkins had a .16 level, which is double the legal limit. He was taken to the Dubois County Security Center.

Along with the charges, Jenkins was cited for:

Driving without an Interlock Device
Driving while Suspended
Open Container

Operating while intoxicated endangerment
