TRAFFIC: Chestnut Street in Huntingburg to Experience Periodic Closures For the Next Two Weeks

HUNTINGBURG -- Due to road improvement work on Chestnut Street, the road will be closed periodically from 12^th to 19^th Streets between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. beginning Tuesday, June 8 through Friday, June 12 and again from Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19, 2020. The schedule is as follows:

• Chestnut Street closed between 12^th and 14^th Streets on Tuesday, June 8; and
• Chestnut Street closed between 14^th and 19^th Streets on Wednesday, June 9.

Access will still be available to the Hunter’s Crossing subdivision during the project.   

Please note, the schedule is dependent on weather and is scheduled to change. The road will be open in the evening hours and overnight, but the public is asked to find an alternate route during the work.
