Animal Medical Center of Dubois County closing at 3 PM today

CITY/COUNTY OFFICES:

• Huntingburg – Due to the incoming ice storm, all City of Huntingburg offices will be closed on Thursday, February 3, 2022. The Huntingburg Transit System will not be operating. The City is urging residents to stay home if possible. In case of a utility emergency, please call the Huntingburg Emergency Line at (812) 683-2327.
• Dubois County will close all non-essential offices
• Ferdinand: Ferdinand Town Hall will be closed today. Ferdinand Police and all area law enforcement are asking persons to stay off roads, unless absolutely necessary.
• Dubois County Highway Department: All Dubois County dumpster sites closed.
• The Dubois County Health Department (1187 South Saint Charles Street) and the Dubois County Regional Covid Testing site (400 South Clay Street) will be closed Thursday, February 3, 2022.

• Loogootee Public Library has cancelled guitar lessons for Thursday.
•  Jasper Community Arts First Thursday reception scheduled for Thursday, February 3 as well as the Clay Open Studio cancelled.
• The Optimist Club Annual Meeting has been cancelled for today.
• The Jasper Area Coin Club Meeting at the Dubois County Museum is cancelled for this evening.

SPORTS: CANCELLED

Jasper High School Basketball: Due to the impending weather, Thursday night's boys' JV and Varsity basketball game vs. Barr-Reeve has been postponed until 2/15.

The Forest Park Girls Basketball Sectional Games are cancelled for tonight.  The plan, if allowed, will be 6:30 and 8 pm Friday night.  Semi Finals will be Saturday at 6:30 and 8 pm and the Final game will be Tuesday at 7pm.  A decision will be made on Friday’s games tomorrow afternoon.
