TERRE HAUTE -- It's been 17-years since the last inmate was executed at the federal prison in Terre Haute.
Next week -- three inmates on death row are expected to be killed. They are Daniel Lewis Lee, Wesley Purkey, and Dustin Honken.
Lee is guilty of killing a family of three from Arkansas in 1999. An eight-year-old girl was among the victims.
Purkey kidnapped a 16-year-old girl, raped and dismember her in Missouri in 2003 -- and a jury in Iowa convicted Honken on killing five people in 2004. Protesters against the death penalty were out in front of the prison gates Monday.
All three prisoners are seeking a court order to stop or delay the executions.
