FRENCH LICK -- The French Lick Casino reopened Monday morning at 6 a.m.
The Orange County destination has been closed mid-March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Guests are being urged to bring their own face mask and hand sanitizer.
According to the resort’s website, cash transactions have been suspended. Debit, credit, or gift cards will be accepted. Signatures will only be necessary if you’d like to be able to charge back to your room.
French Lick Resort has also streamlined the check-in and check-out process to avoid in person contact.

Are the hotels open?
Reservations are being accepted for all resort hotels. Currently, West Baden Springs Hotel is open for overnight stays. French Lick Springs Hotel and Valley Tower will open July 1 for leisure guests.

Is French Lick Casino open?
French Lick Casino is scheduled to open Monday, June 15 at 6am, pending approval from the Indiana Gaming Commission. For further information, please reference the Casino FAQs.
Is the main entrance of West Baden Springs Hotel open?
No, the main drive is closed but overnight guests may access the hotel’s back drive via Sinclair Street.
Is the main entrance of French Lick Springs Hotel open?
Yes, this is the only way to access the French Lick Springs Hotel and French Lick Casino. A welcome station will be near the entrance to help direct you to your destination and let you know about safety procedures.
Will there be valet parking?
We have suspended valet parking at this time for the safety and security of guests and staff. Self-parking will be available with additional assistance, if needed.
Will there be bell staff available?
Yes, our bell staff will be able to assist you with your luggage. They will use disposable gloves and sanitize carts after each use. Your bags will be delivered just outside of your hotel room.
Will you take thermal scans before entering your resort?
Yes, anyone with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher will not be allowed to enter and will be referred to a healthcare provider. Occupants riding in the same vehicle as someone with a 100.4+ temperature will not be able to enter the hotel.
Should I bring my own face mask?
Yes, we kindly ask that you bring your own, but we will have a limited supply on hand. Masks will be standard for guests and associates.
Will hand sanitizer be provided?
We are working hard to increase our supply of hand sanitizer and have some available throughout the resort. Please feel free to bring your own.
Will there be personal contact during check-in and check-out process?
No, we have streamlined the check in process to avoid contact. To protect associates and guests, plexiglass shields have been added to our service areas.
Will cash payment be accepted?
No, we are suspending cash transactions at this time. Debit, credit, or gift cards will be accepted. Signatures will only be necessary if you’d like to be able to charge back to your room.
Will your staff be properly protected?
Yes, we have outfitted our staff with personal protective gear, including masks and single-use gloves.
Are your safety precautions available for viewing?
Yes, we will have signage throughout the property. You can also view it here.
What social distancing measures will be in place?
• We have clearly marked queuing areas to allow 6-foot social distancing recommendations. You may notice some furniture has been rearranged or removed to comply with the mandate.
• We recommend no more than two people use the elevator at a time. Hand sanitizer will be available nearby.
How often will my room be cleaned?
We are instituting a 48-hour window between occupied rooms. This means we can guarantee you no one has stayed in your room for at least two days prior to your arrival. For the safety of guests and staff, we are not offering daily housekeeping in occupied rooms. If you need anything during your stay, please contact the front desk.
Will there be a coffee maker in my room?
Yes, single-use coffee makers are in the room. Coffee is also for sale at Xanadu in the West Baden Springs Hotel and French Lick Mercantile in the French Lick Springs Hotel.
What do I do if I need something not available in my room?
For your safety, we have removed some items from the guest rooms. Missing something you need? Simply call the front desk and we will deliver it to your door.
Will the swimming pools be open?
The pools, hot tub and fitness center at West Baden Springs Hotel are open from 6:30am-11pm daily. Occupancy limitations will be in place. Please wipe down fitness center equipment after each use.
* We are working to get these facilities open at French Lick Springs as well. Please call the front desk to check on the status.
Are The Stables at French Lick open?
The Stables at French Lick are open Friday-Sunday from 9am-4pm. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (812) 936-9360, extension 7246.
Are the golf courses open?
Yes, our Pete Dye, Donald Ross, and Valley Links courses are open. Call (888) 936-9360 to book your tee time.
Are the spas at French Lick Resort open?
The Spa at West Baden is taking appointments for stays after June 15. To book an appointment, please call 812-936-5801.
Will transportation be provided?
No, for the safety and security for all, we will not be operating the shuttles during these initial phases.
Are the restaurants open?
Yes, several of the resort restaurants are open but may have limited hours and menus. Please see the dining page for current information.
Will there be in-room dining?
We have made the decision to pause in-room dining for now.
Will the trolley be running?
Due to social distancing guidelines, the trolley is not operating at this time.
Will retail shops be open?
Some of the retail shops will be open but may have limited hours.

Will bicycles be available for rental?
Bikes are out by the West Baden Springs Hotel front entrance and available to rent through the front desk.
Will the bowling alley be open?
No, for safety and security reasons, we will not be opening the bowling alley during this initial phase.

Will the hiking trails be available?
Yes, three different trails are available. You can pick up a trail map at the Valley Links golf shop.
