Texas Man Arrested on OWI Charges After Single-Vehicle Wreck

Jasper - A Houston man was arrested on two charges after a single-vehicle accident on Sunday.

On Sunday at approximately 4:50 a.m., the Jasper Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident near the intersection of Westwood Blvd and Village Court.

When Officers arrived on scene, two male subjects were located in the vehicle which was still running. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Jose Martinez Jimenez.

After showing signs of impairment, Jimenez was transported to the Jasper Police Department.

Jimenez submitted to a certified breath test which resulted in a certified breath sample of .11 % BAC. Jimenez was transported to the Dubois County Security Center where he was lodged for OWI and OWI endangerment.
