Tell City Man Arrested in Jasper for Trespassing, Threatening to Fight Officers

Jasper - A Tell City man was arrested in Jasper on Sunday for trespassing and threatening to fight police officers.


At 8:45 a.m. Sunday morning, Jasper Police Officers were called to the 1600 block of Jackson Street for a report of an individual whom had gained entry into a residence without permission.

The homeowner notified police that Michael James, 18, of Tell City, had previously trespassed on the property.

After being medically cleared at Memorial Hospital, he was transported to the Dubois County Security Center. 

While in the booking intake, James threatened to fight officers several times.

James was charged with Intimidation, Residential Entry, and Criminal Trespass.
