TDI Brands Announces Leadership Changes

JASPER – Tierra-Derco International, LLC, dba TDI Brands, a forerunner in supplying innovative, distinctive, and timeless products to the garden center industry, has announced the following leadership changes for the organization.
Mike Bartley has been promoted to President.He will be replacing Charles Stenftenagel, co-owner, who will maintain chairman of the board and other executive duties.Bartley came to TDI Brands as General Manager in 2012 and has led the company through five years of consistent growth and coordinated the acquisition on Stone Age Creations.Bartley will preside over all corporate operations, functions, and divisions.He spent over 22 years with Masterbrand Cabinets, the #1 kitchen and bath cabinet manufacturer in North America, in various finance and management positions.He holds a B.S. degree in accounting from Ball State University.Bartley lives in Jasper, IN with his wife, Bridgette.They have three children, Tyler, Jacob, and Grace.

Holly Mundy has been promoted to Vice President, Sales and Marketing.Mundy came to TDI Brands in 2016 as Director of Marketing and Business Development and has made a significant impact to the company’s sales and marketing performance.In her new position, she will create and manage new business opportunities, manage the company’s sales teams, oversee marketing, customer service, and lead the product development team.Mundy has over 18 years’ experience working in various aspects of marketing and customer relations.Prior to joining TDI Brands, she was Brand Manager for JThomas Parts.She has a B.S. degree in marketing and international business from Indiana University Kelley School of Business.Mundy lives in Jasper, IN with her husband, Chad.They have two children, Regan and Carter.

Chris Sternberg has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer.Sternberg came to TDI Brands in 2013 as Controller and has been instrumental in developing process and procedure within the organization, including the procurement and finance functions.He has done an excellent job of managing budgets and treasury responsibilities.Sternberg most recently held the position of Director of Operations.He has over 18 years’ experience in various accounting and finance roles over his career.Prior to joining TDI Brands, Sternberg was Capital Assets Manager at Masterbrand Cabinets.He has a B.S. degree in mathematics from the University of Evansville.Sternberg lives in Jasper, IN with his wife, Sally.They have three children, Matthew, Kaelyn, and Emilie.
“Chris has done a great job with fiduciary and internal controls at TDI Brands.He is very strong at building budgets and forecasts which always allows us to keep a pulse of the business at all times.Chris has also managed our procurement function and supply chain.He is an analytical thinker who will provide strong leadership with cost and asset management, as well as meaningful data for decision-making.I am excited to have Chris leading our finance function at TDI Brands,” stated Mike Bartley, President of TDI Brands.
