Sunday Arrest the Second in a Week for a Jasper Man

Jasper - A Jasper man was arrested for the second time in a week on Sunday.


Just after 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, Jasper Police responded to a report of a verbal domestic dispute on Wagner Street.

During the investigation at the scene, Brandon J. Wilkie, 39, of Jasper, was determined to be intoxicated. Wilkie admitted to being under the influence of alcohol and narcotics. Wilkie also admitted to driving to the residence shortly before the arrival of officers.

Upon tests at Memorial Hospital, Wilkie tested positive for a number of narcotics as well as alcohol.

Wilkie was charged with Operating while Intoxicated and OWI Endangerment.

Last week, Wilkie was charged with Driving while Suspended, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Legend Drug, and Obstruction of Justice.
