Strassenfest Pageant Contestants Announced

Jasper- The 2023 Strassenfest Court hopefuls were released Thursday.

The annual Strassenfest Pageant will be held on Saturday, July 29th in two sessions, starting with the Little Miss and Mister pageant at 2:00 PM est. The Junior Miss and Miss pageant will follow at 6:00 PM. Both sessions will be held at Redemption Christian Church in Jasper. 

Those selected to the court will be featured at the annual German celebration from August 3rd through the 6th. 

This years Little Miss contestants are:

  • Emmalyn Grothouse, the daughter of Nick and Amanda Grothouse.
  • Caroline Ziegler, the daughter of Jeremy and Ashley Ziegler.
  • Owen Elrod, the son of Evan and Brooke Elrod.
  • Lennox Dodd, the daughter of Joshua and Megan Dodd.
  • Addison DeMoore, the daughter of Kyle and Melissa DeMoore.
  • Bennett Ernst, the son of Matt and Leslie Ernst.
  • Raylee Knotts, the daughter of Shawn and Brooke Knotts.
  • Penelope Marinin, the daughter of Dmitry and Jade Marinin.
  • Maxwell Burris, the son of Sam and Julie Burris
  • Harlow Elliot, the daughter of Josh Elliot and Nikki Bethel.
  • Lydia Knies, the daughter of Brett and Brooke Knies.
  • Parker Hoffman, the son of Nick and Brooke Hoffman.
  • Macy Hartings, the daughter of Ross and Andrea Hartings.
  • Elyn Hochgesang, the daughter of Kyle and Amanda Hochgesang.
  • Edward Marinin, the son of Dmitry and Jade Marinin.
  • Kynzlee Voegerl, the daughter of Bryce and Kirsten Voegerl.
  • Jett Sermersheim, the son of Josh and Brooke Sermersheim.
  • Maya Woolston, the daughter of James and Camille Woolston.
  • Evelyn Seckinger, the daughter of Eric and Jillian Seckinger.
  • Bennett Rasche, the son of Aaron and Heidi Rasche.
  • Kalison Julian, the daughter of Chris and Savannah Julian.
  • Jagger Jones, the son of Andrew and Teresa Birkle.
  • Remington Kinman, the daughter of Drew and Hannah Kinman.

The Junior Miss contestants are:

  • Vivienne Gunselman, the daughter of Josh and Kimbra Gunselman.
  • Shelby Prechtel, the daughter of Matt and Torina Prechtel.
  • Marley Hostetter, the daughter of Nick and Angie Hostetter.
  • Reagan Hochgesang, the daughter of Kyle and Amanda Hochgesang.
  • Mya Uebelhor, the daughter of Kurt and Sherri Uebelhor.

Lastly, those vying for the Miss Strassenfest title are:

  • Hannah Rottet, the daughter of Phil and Kathy Rottet.
  • Darby Patton, the daughter of Brian and Sherri Patton.
  • Megan Rydberg, the daughter of Janet Rydberg.
  • Aaliyah Peraza, the daughter of Mo and Heather Peraza.
