Strassenfest Events List for Thursday August 4th, 2022

Jasper- Strassenfest has fallen upon the city of Jasper as the annual festivity begins today on Fourth Street in Jasper.

Today’s biggest events include:

  • Food and Drink Booths- 5:00 PM-11:00 PM on 4th Street
  • Carnival Rides- 5:00 PM-10:30 PM on Mill Street
  • Celebration Singers- At 5:45 PM at the Willkommen Stage
  • Bier Garten Opens- 6:00 PM-12:30 AM at 4th and Jackson streets
  • WITZ Guitar Pull- 7:00 PM-9:00 PM at the Willkommen Stage
  • Das Glockenspiel (NEW)-8:00 PM and 9:00 PM on the Glockenspiel Stage
  • Big Bad No Name (NEW)- 9:00 PM on the Willkommen Stage
  • Polka and Chicken Dance Contest- 10:00 PM at the Bier Garten

German Heritage Night

  • Opening Ceremonies begin at the Willkommen Stage starting at 6:00 PM
  • A parade to the Glockenspiel will follow for dedication and first performance at 7:00 PM
  • German activities and games are at 7:10 PM at the Glockenspiel Stage
  • The Parade to the Bier Garten is at 7:15 PM
