STATEWIDE -- Some people in Indiana may not get their stimulus check.
The Indiana Supreme Court yesterday refused to step-in and stop creditors in the state from seizing checks for past-due debts.
The group Indiana Legal Services asked the court to protect the 14-hundred dollars that Congress started sending-out this month. The high court did not explain why it rejected Indiana Legal Services' case.
The decision leaves open the option for creditors to collect on people's checks.
