Spencer County Democratic Party to host Annual JFK Dinner & Silent Auction on Apr. 28
The Spencer County Democratic Party is pleased to announce their annual Spencer County JFK
Dinner and Silent Auction on Sunday, April 28th at the Spencer County Youth & Community
Center in Chrisney. Scheduled speakers and guests for this year’s event include: 8th District
candidate for U.S. Representative, Ed Sein, U.S. Senate candidates Michael Carmichael and Dr.
Valerie McCray, 8th District Democratic Chair Dave Crooks, candidate for State Representative
Dist. 75, Bob Compton, and County Council At-Large candidate, John Hurley.
“We invite all Democratic Party supporters to join us for this annual afternoon of great food
and friendship,” said Spencer County Democratic Party Chairman, Dan Wilkinson. “This is an
excellent opportunity for primary voters to hear from Democratic candidates for Congress and
Senate before the primary on May 7th. We also look forward to welcoming local candidates for
state representative and county council as well as our 8th District Chair, Dave Crooks,”
Wilkinson said.
Doors will open at 11:30 AM CDT with meal service starting at 12:30 PM CDT and carry-out
service available. There will also be a silent auction and attendance door prizes. Tickets are
$15 (free for students and children) and can be purchased in advance online at

at the door.
