Spencer County Democratic Party to Host Annual Fish Fry on Sunday, July 30th

Spencer Co.- The Spencer County Democratic Party announces will host its annual summer Fish Fry on  Sunday, July 30th at the Spencer County Youth and Community Center in Chrisney. 

Special  invited guests as of press time include candidate for Indiana Governor, Jennifer McCormick, and  Kent Yeager, Deputy Director of Rural Affairs for the Indiana Democratic Party. Candidates for  local municipal offices will also be recognized including Tricia Vaal for Santa Claus Town Council;  Ray Striegel and Nathan Brittingham for Dale Town Council; Cindy Morrison for Dale Clerk Treasurer; and Kim Litkenhus for Chrisney Clerk-Treasurer.  

Sponsored by the Spencer County Democratic Central Committee, the menu will feature catfish  fillets, sliced ham, baked beans, potato salad, tomatoes, corn, desserts and homemade ice  cream. Doors will open at 11:30 AM CDT with meal service starting at 12:30 PM CDT and carry out service available from 12-12:30. There will also be a silent auction, half pot and attendance  door prizes. Tickets are $15 (free for students and children) and can be purchased in advance  online at bit.ly/fish-fry23 or by calling or texting Chairman Dan Wilkinson at (812) 660-9130.  Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door.
