Southwestern Indiana Master Gardener Association to Art Fair at their Display Garden

On Sunday, June 9, from 12:30 to 3:30 pm, Southwestern Indiana Master Gardener Association (SWIMGA) will host its annual plant sale at the SWIMGA Display Garden. This event will feature many local artists and craft booths, live music from the Honey Vines, and food trucks. The event is family-centered, and there will be activities for children such as face painting. The gardens look their best in June, so visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to enjoy both the gardens and music.

The SWIMGA Display Garden is located at 3501 E Lloyd Expy in Evansville, between the Red Cross and the Eykamp Boy Scout Center. Consisting of several different gardens such as Berry Patch, Vegetables gardens, Pollinator Garden, Rain Garden, and more, the SWIMGA Display Garden is the organization's largest public garden which serves to demonstrate many different plants, gardening styles, and techniques. The garden is open dawn til dusk to visitors and Master Gardeners are there on the second Saturday of each month during the gardening season to work and answer questions.
