Southridge Middle School Searching for New Principal

Huntingburg- Parents received a letter from Southwest Dubois School Superintendent Chip Mehaffey.

In the letter, Southridge Middle School Principal Chad Whitehead provided the school corporation his resignation as principal on Friday. The letter cited personal reasons for leaving.

Starting on Tuesday, current Southridge High School Principal Greg Gogel will step into the principal position on an interim basis. Gogel will continue to be the high school principal during this time.

The search for a new middle school principal will be extensive, according to Superintendent Mehaffey. The school corporation plans to announce a new principal at the start of the second semester.
