Southeast Dubois Sign New Drink Contract

Ferdinand- At Monday’s School Board meeting, Southeast Dubois Board members approved a new contract for the district's drinks.
Prior to the meeting, Coca-Cola (Coke) was the district's distributor for all concession stands, vending machines, and cafeterias. The contract with Coke expired in May.
After reviewing the options, a contract with the drink company’s rival, Pepsi, was presented to the school board. In a unanimous vote, the board approved the five year contract.
At the meeting, Superintendent Jamie Pund said, “When talking to the other districts in our area, many of them use Pepsi.”
It was also claimed at the meeting by board members that the customer service with Pepsi was a little easier than Coke.
The drink distribution areas for the district will now be stocked with Pepsi products.
