Some Local Counties Show Progress in Fight to Contain COVID-19

AREA WIDE -- There is some encouraging news coming out of Pike County on the COVID-19 front.

The Health Department reported no new cases of COVID-19 Monday for the second day in a row.

The test positivity rate is currently going down in the county.  Residents there remain under a CODE YELLOW designation.

113 cases have been reported in Pike County since the pandemic began.  One resident has died there from complications of coronavirus.

No new cases of the virus reported in the latest update out of Martin, Orange, Crawford, Lawrence, and Perry Counties.  12 new cases have been reported in Warrick County.  Just three new cases in neighboring Spencer County.
