Several Dubois County Roads Seeing Work Start Monday

There are several County Roads throughout Dubois County that are scheduled to receive a Rejuvenating Surface Seal during the week of May 24th.

Please do not park any vehicles on the Roads receiving the treatments because it will hinder our ability to complete the work.  You will be notified when we are finished with your road.

Any cars remaining on the road will be towed at the owner’s expense. We fully anticipate that the roads will be open to local traffic during most of the work.   However, please be advised that there will be short periods of time where direct access to your driveway will not be possible.

The Rejuvenating Surface Seal involves fresh oil being distributed on the roadway.   Please stay off the Seal until it has properly cured, and someone informs you that it is acceptable to drive on.  If you must cross it, please drive extremely slow as to not splash oil on your vehicle.  The Highway Department will not be responsible for removing Sealer from vehicles.

The Following is a tentative schedule of when the Seal will be applied.

Monday May 24th – Holland Road East

Tuesday May 25th – Sermersheim’s Subdivision & Arrowhead Ridge Subdivion (Oak Ln., Maple Dr., Walnut Dr., & Hickory Ln.) (Oak Ridge Dr., Alder Creek Dr., & Countryside Ln.)

Wednesday May 26th – C.R. 330 North, C.R. 300 North & Haysville Rd. West

* All scheduling is subject to daily weather conditions and any unforeseen circumstances.
