Secretary of State Attends Local Outreach Event

Huntingburg- Indiana’s 63rd Secretary of State Diego Morales was in attendance for the Hispanic Voter Outreach event in Huntingburg Wednesday night.
Morales, the first latino Secretary of State for Indiana, spoke to listeners on the importance of registering to vote and voting.
“I am here because one of my goals since day one is to increase voter turnout and voter participation,” Morales said.
The outreach event was put on by ALASI and the Dubois County Clerk’s office. Attendees had the opportunity to see voting equipment and ask questions.
The 2023 Municipal Election will be held on November 7th, 2023. The twenty-eight day early voting period has already started. Voters can check registration status at IndianaVoters.in.gov.
