Second Dubois County Murder Suspect in Court as Trial Continues

JASPER -- A second defendant in the Birdseye murder of Darin Atkins is back in court today as her trial continues in a Dubois County courtroom.

Sarah Andry of Eckerty is the second defendant to be tried in the case.  The other suspect, Jason Atkins, was sentenced to 45 years back in November for his role in Darin Atkins’ death.

The two share the same last name but they are not related.

Andry is charged with murder and aggravated battery.

Investigators believed the murder stemmed from a love triangle gone wrong.
