Rotary Club of Dubois County to Hold Leadership Luncheon

Dubois Co.- The Rotary Club of Dubois County invites community members to join them for their first leadership luncheon of 2023, featuring guest speaker Joe Carley.

The event will be Thursday, April 27th at Vincennes University Jasper’s Center for Technology, Innovation, and Manufacturing (CTIM) Building, starting at 11:30 am.

Joe Carley is the director of economic development at Indiana University and the director for strategic partnerships at the IU Center for Rural Engagement. At the Leadership Luncheon, Carley’s presentation will give an overview of the Uplands Science and Technology Foundation, which was created:

·     to help WestGate Tech Park evolve into a nationally-recognized research and technology park;

·        to drive new activities and attract new firms and talent in emerging technology areas like
         microelectronics, artificial intelligence, and hypersonics; and

·        to make WestGate a unique regional hub with a distinctive sense of place.
