Road Closure Scheduled for SR 356 Near Petersburg for Drainage Structure Replacement

PIKE COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a complete closure for State Road 356 just east of Petersburg for a drainage project.

Beginning on or around Monday July 13, contractors will close S.R. 356 in the area near 18^th Street and S.R. 356 to replace a small box culvert. This operation requires full excavation of the previous structure across both lanes of traffic.

The closure will be in place around the clock. Depending upon weather conditions, work is expected to last until the end of July. INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
