Road closure planned for State Road 56

Gibson Co.- The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for State Road 56 in Gibson County.

Beginning on or around Tuesday, October 25, crews will close State Road 56 near Hazleton. This closure is to allow for a culvert replacement. The closure is expected to last a day, depending on the weather.

The official detour for motorists is US 41 to State Road 64 to State Road 65. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
