Road closure planned for State Road 356

Pike Co.- The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for State Road 356 near Alford.

Beginning on or around Tuesday, May 30, crews will close State Road 356 near Alford. Construction will allow crews to perform a bridge replacement over Mud Creek. This work is expected to last through the end of September, depending on the weather.

The official detour for this project is State Road 257 to State Road 56 to State Road 57. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
