Ribbon Cutting Scheduled For Expanded Tri-County YMCA in Ferdinand on March 29th

FERDINAND -- The Dubois County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome the newly built Program Center and expanded Wellness Center addition to the Tri-County YMCA. The ceremony will be held on March 29th, 4:00 pm EST, at 131 E 16th Street, Ferdinand, Indiana.
“Tri-County YMCA is excited to share this new addition that was funded through the Re-Imagine your Y Campaign, '' commented Mike Steffe, Executive Director. “We had outgrown our Wellness Center and needed more space for additional programming to meet the needs of our community. ”
Tri-County YMCA serves Dubois, Perry and Spencer Counties and received its provisional charter in 2003, moved into the current facility in 2011. This new addition adds another 50% in size to the YMCA. The YMCA is driven by community needs, guided by community volunteers and open to all.
