Ribbon Cutting Planned on New Tunnel at Huntingburg Airport as Part of $13 Million Expansion Project

HUNTINGBURG -- The public is being invited to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Huntingburg Airport next week.

That’s where a new tunnel has been constructed on CR 200 South as part of a major $13.1 million expansion of the existing airport.

It’s the first airport in the state to have a tunnel.

The ribbon cutting will be on Monday, September 14^th at 10 a.m. at the south entrance of the new tunnel adjacent to the intersection of CR 900 South and CR 200 West.
