Resident and Employee Test Positive for COVID-19 at Area Health Campus

PERRY COUNTY -- Health officials have reported six new cases of coronavirus bringing their total to 61.

Two of the newly diagnosed patients are from the Oakwood Health Campus.  One is a resident, the other an employee at the facility.

Health officials say they are increasing testing at Oakwood.

25 people in Perry County remain on strict isolation.  Two are hospitalized and 33 have recovered.  One person there has died from the virus.
