Rep. Lindauer presents Dubois County Council president with Distinguished Hoosier Award
State Rep. Shane Lindauer (R-Jasper) recently presented Dubois County Council President Michael "Mike" Kluesner with the Distinguished Hoosier Award for military, civic and public service.
"Mike's time on the Dubois County Council, along with his previous business ownership and military service, demonstrates a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of the county's needs," Lindauer said. "His extensive involvement in civic groups epitomize his commitment to cultivating a strong sense of community and support networks."
According to Lindauer, Kluesner has been active in organizations such as Dubois Strong, Association of Indiana Counties and initiatives like the Justice Center Study. He has also held leadership roles in the Holy Family Church.
The Distinguished Hoosier Award is one of the highest awards given to Indiana citizens by the governor. It is awarded to those who distinguish themselves by significant contributions to their communities, and whose qualities and actions endear them in the hearts and minds of Hoosiers.
