Published Author Coming to Dubois County Museum

Jasper- The Jasper German Club and the Dubois County Museum are partnering for a free community event.

On Sunday, June 4th, published author Anneliese Krauter will share her story at the Dubois County Museum.

Krauter will recall tales of her life in the U.S. pre-World War Two as the daughter of German immigrants. Then, after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, stories of accusations against her father as a Nazi spy and life in a Texas internment Camp will be shared. 

Krauter will also talk about her life when immigrating back to Germany and her family's escape from Russian Occupation before returning to the U.S. 

The Dubois County Museum will host the event from 1-4pm est with Krauter speaking at 1:30.
