Provide Input on the Redistricting Process
In the coming weeks, the General Assembly will reconvene to draw new legislative and congressional district boundaries, and we are looking for input from the public.
One way you can have your voice heard is by submitting your own maps via an online map-drawing portal. More information and instructions on how to use this tool can be found here.
In addition, 19 Ivy Tech campuses are providing free on-site technical support and instruction on the mapping software. Click here to find a list of locations.
This tool has been launched following a number of public meetings across the state where members of the legislature heard from citizens from all nine congressional districts. Those meetings were recorded and can be found here.
Lastly, you can still provide written testimony for the General Assembly to consider and attend upcoming committee meetings at the Statehouse. This information and more, including a tentative schedule of committee meetings and other legislative action on redistricting, can be found at iga.in.gov/redistricting
