Primary Election Day in Huntingburg

Huntingburg- Today, the City of Huntingburg will find out who will be its uncontested Republican Candidate for Mayor.

The primary is the only contested race in Dubois County. It pins incumbent Mayor Steve Schwinghammer against challenger James Hopf.

Polls are open from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Huntingburg Event Center. 

The city’s transit system is offering free rides to the polls for those who need one from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. To schedule a ride, contact City Hall at 812-683-2211.

A valid photo ID is required to vote.
