Pride in the Park Festival expanded for 2022
Local Sources- The Dubois County Pride in the Park Festival has released their schedule and details for this year’s event.
There is more live entertainment, more food, more games and more information booths, in addition to a pool party starting on Friday, June 24.
The free, family-friendly fest is again being held at Jasper’s Jaycee Park and the Jasper City Pool. Food trucks open at 6 p.m. and the pool party begins at 7 o’clock.
The Troubadours of Divine Bliss will perform from 7 to 8:30 and the Louisville Turners Circus will roam the park between 7 and 9. A Glow Dance Party is on tap from 9 to 10:30.
Based in Louisville, the popular Troubadours of Divine Bliss are a high-energy, award-winning, folk duo featuring beautiful, original music and harmonies, filled with messages of hope and love.
Aerial performers from Louisville's Turners Circus will add a vibrant, artistic flair to this year's festival. Providing dynamic programs for youth, Turners has delighted people in the region for 70 years.
During all this, a variety of games are available including volleyball, corn hole and candy cannon. Stations for face painting and balloon animals will also be open as will a variety of information booths.
Those attending should bring lawn chairs or blankets to watch the entertainment.
Dubois County Pride in the Park promotes inclusivity by showing support for the Dubois County LBGTQ+ community. The Dubois County Pride fest is one of dozens of events held in communities around Indiana and in hundreds of communities throughout the country during June, National Pride Month.
