Preservation Project affecting 24 Jasper Streets

Jasper- As part of the City of Jasper’s on-going infrastructure maintenance, the Jasper Street Dept, along with contractor, RejuvTec, will be applying a Reclamite preservation solution to the following streets, beginning Monday, August 21 thru Wednesday, August 23.

Beginning each day at approximately 7:30am thru approximately 5:00pm each day.

The possibility exists for extending into the following week, in the event of inclement weather conditions or other unforeseen events.

Reclamite is an asphalt rejuvenating emulsion that restores the original binder back to a proper balance.

All vehicles must be removed prior to 7:30am from streets being processed.

Affected residents will be notified, via a door hanger, in advance of treatment on their street.

Motorists will not be allowed on these streets prior to contractor removing the barricades.   Once the barricades have been removed, the surface will be very slick with sand & may result in solution adhering to vehicles, therefore, extreme caution is advised, should you travel these streets shortly after barricades are removed.  Sand will be removed within 2 days.

Trash, Recycling & Yard waste collection will proceed as normal & MUST be out no later than 7:00am for pickup.

    Grandview Drive – Both Sides of University Drive

    Willow Lane

    6th Street – Anderson to RR Tracks

    Anderson Street

    Greene Street – 13th Street to 15th Street

    E. 15th Street – Kellerville Rd to RR Tracks

    Cherry Street – 15th Street to Kellerville Rd

    Kellerville Road – 15th Street to Cathy Lane

    Dispatch Road

    Bittersweet Drive – 29th Street to 31st Street

    Scenic Court – North of Pleasant View

    Virginia Ave.

    Old Huntingburg Rd at 12th Ave.

    HRJ Lane – US231 to Dispatch

    Power Drive

    Cottonwood Lane – South of 2nd Street

    Red Bud Lane – 2nd Street to 5th Street

    Mapleleaf Drive

    Lechner Lane – Gregory to 2nd Street

    St. Charles Street – Division to 12th Ave.
