Police Warn Southern Indiana Residents About New Amazon Scam

Area law enforcement agencies say scammers are calling Hoosiers, saying their Amazon-linked card is being used improperly. The scammers then transfer people to a representative who takes your personal and credit card information. 

The sheriff's office says never give your personal or credit card information out over the phone, instead simply hang-up.
